With another fiscal year in the books, our results indicate your cooperative is headed in a positive direction.
Here are the numbers:
At first glance, it may not seem we had a great year financially. However, when you compare these results to the past two years of business, we have made strides in the right direction—despite the challenging ag economy. We strive to improve the profitability of our local operations to maintain a healthy balance sheet. Our employees are committed to this goal, and to doing their best to make FCA your preferred supplier.
As a business owned by you, our patrons, FCA is unique from privately owned businesses. There are no absentee owners or stockholders taking their cut of our gross profit. Our owners live right here in the communities we serve, and share in any profit we realize.
Cooperatives still deliver the benefits that drove local farmers to organize them years ago. By pooling your purchasing power with other patrons at FCA, your cooperative can purchase in volume and receive better input pricing—which is passed on to you. We are also able to utilize advanced technology that would be unaffordable to many individual operators. We help reduce your risk and insulate you from the swings that occur in the volatile energy and crop input markets.
In closing, this is a community business. Our employees are your friends, family and neighbors. They pay taxes in your communities and serve in organizations and on boards that help maintain strong and growing schools and communities.
Thank you for your business, and for the opportunity to partner with you to provide the products and services you need to run your households and businesses.
A special thanks, too, to all our veterans for your service.
